For 86 years now, Richmond's Poe Museum has exhibited the World’s greatest collection of Edgar Allan Poe's work, as well as personal belonging. Additionally it contains many more relics pertaining to the legendary author’s life and times.

The museum building itself, is also the oldest standing house in Richmond. It was built in 1737, by Jacob Ege. In life, Edger Allan Poe lived just a few blocks away from this building. For a true Poe fan, this is a must see!
