Presented on September 30, 2005 at the Virginia Beach annual Neptune Festival this 34 foot tall bronze statue of King Neptune, Ruler of the sea, stands guard on the boardwalk at the end of 31st, in Neptune’s park.

The statue was created by Paul Dipasquale after his design was picked out of many other concepts from artists around the world. This 12 ton giant fits seamlessly surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean.
